I created this design as a reminder that for those who have the Spirit of the Living God dwelling inside of them, our battles are not fought in the physical realm. There is so much more to life than what we see with our eyes, and there is a war raging in the spiritual realm every single day...and though we may not see it with our physical eyes, we see the effects of it in our world around us. Any time a trial or conflict arises in our lives, our first instinct is usually to see a specific person (or people) as our enemy and to begin to fight them with our words and attitudes and actions. But they are not our real enemy. Satan is the enemy of our souls as believers, and he steals, kills, destroys, blinds, and deceives. So rather than seeing a specific person or circumstance as our enemy, we need to remember who our real enemy is, to fight HIM and not the people around us, and to rebuke him with truth any time he begins to speak lies over us. There are so many people in this world who desperately need to be set free from the lies and deception that Satan has warped them in, and if we are so busy fighting each other in the earthly realm, then we will never see that people's hearts are at stake, and that there is a spiritual battle raging over their hearts that can only be won by prayer - which is the way that we battle spiritually.
